Scope of and prerequisites for Cloud Application Backup for Microsoft 365 Groups and Teams

Scope

Infrascale Cloud Application Backup (ICAB) for Microsoft 365 Groups and Teams covers the following:

• Data backup (mailboxes, conversations, sites, metadata, notebooks, documents, permissions, members, and everything related to a group or a team)

  Backup can be activated for all or selected groups and teams.

• Backup data restore

  CAB restore process is non-destructive—that is, the restored data does not overwrite the existing one.

• Backup data export

Prerequisites

To administer ICAB for Groups and Teams in your Microsoft 365 environment, the following are required:

• Microsoft 365 (Business, Education, Enterprise, Government, or Nonprofit).

• Microsoft 365 account with global administrator or Exchange administrator role and application impersonation configured.
