System Alerts

Use the System Alerts section to select alerts sent by Backup & Disaster Recovery appliance as notification emails.

System Alerts section

Before you can select alerts, you have to configure the email settings.

Appliance can send the following alerts:

Alert Description Notes
Audit    
Daily Summary    
Login Notifications Sent whenever a user logs in to the Management Console  
Backup    
Archive Completion Sent whenever appliance completes archiving Applies to the physical appliances only
Daily Summary Report Summary of all jobs and their statuses in a previous day See Reports for details
Weekly Summary Report Summary of all jobs and their statuses in a previous week See Reports for details
Job Failed Sent whenever a backup or a restore job fails  
Job Succeeded Sent whenever a backup or a restore job completes successfully  
Job Stuck Sent if appliance detects no activity from a job in progress, for example, if the job does not send any data or does not visit any new files  
Archive Drive Request Sent if the archive drive, if any, is full and requires replacement  
VM Auto Registered Sent after appliance automatically registers a new VM on the connected host  
Replication    
Replication Summary Report Sent after the replication completes  
Communication Failures Sent if appliance cannot connect to the replication server  
Replication Failures Sent if replication fails  
System    
Appliance Is Full   Applies to the physical appliances only
Firmware Updates Available Sent whenever a new firmware update is available  
System Settings Changed Sent whenever you change the system settings  
Hardware Issues   Applies to the physical appliances only
RAID Issues Sent if there is an error relating to the RAID Applies to the physical appliances only
Temperature Too High Sent whenever the temperature of an appliance disk exceeds its threshold Applies to the physical appliances only
S.M.A.R.T. Failures Sent if there is a disk S.M.A.R.T. failure Applies to the physical appliances only

License Server Communication Issues Sent if appliance cannot connect to the licensing server  
License Warnings Sent if the period of validity of the appliance license is near ending  
License Violations Sent if the period of validity of the appliance license ended
