    Message logs in the Management Console of the Backup & Disaster Recovery appliance show the following error when a DR image backup fails if using the legacy DR engine:

    DR Image Backup Engine Error:
  - Some error occurs on agent machine
  - Unable to backup volume with name = 'disk=0;part=0'
  - Some error occurs on agent machine
  - Application 'Volumes' was failed and should be excluded from the current task

    Steps to resolve

    Change the engine used to create the DR image backups to Standard.
