Edit a backup and retention policy in the Dashboard
To edit a backup and retention policy:
- Sign in to your account in the Dashboard. 
- Go to Endpoint Backup › New Policies.  - The consolidated policies page opens. 
- Find a policy you want to edit. 
- Click Actions ( - ) in the last column against the backup policy record, and then click Edit.  - The page with the policy settings opens. 
- Change the settings and options of the policy. - For details, see Configure policy.  
- Click Save to apply changes. - To apply either the basic or the advanced settings, you have to be on the relevant settings tab (Basic or Advanced) when saving changes to the policy.  - The system applies the changes, and now you can view the changed policy information on the consolidated policies page.
